For the health of your child, Shelbyville Central Schools and Community Health Network will be providing a FREE FluMist vaccine- a gentle nasal spray -for any medical eligible child during the school day.
The clinics will be during the school day on the following days:
The FluMist will be provided by a team from Community Health Network.
If you want your child to receive the FluMist Vaccine:
You will need to review and complete the FluMist consent form and return to the school no later than November 7th. All information requested must be provided and the consent must be signed.
Please keep in mind:
Children with severe asthma, diabetes or any other chronic health conditions need to have their health care provider determine which flu vaccine is most appropriate for them.
The flu vaccine administered by injection will be available to those students who have a contraindication to the FluMist.

Shelbyville High School is now accepting nominations for the 2014-15 SHS Alumni Hall of Fame. The application is attached below or can be picked up at Shelbyville High School or the Superintendent’s Office. The deadline to receive applications is January 30, 2015.
In accordance with IC 202654.3, notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Shelbyville Central Schools will hold a public meeting in the conference room of Shelbyville Central Schools, located at 803 St. Joseph Street, Shelbyville, Indiana, 46176, on November 11, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., to discuss and hear objections to and support for the proposed employment contract between the school corporation and Dr. David Adams. Those wishing to comment are welcome to attend.
